lol just joking. I am leaving 2.0 and now digging my heads deeper in my textbooks for good grades lol. What can i say about 2.0 besides that it was long. It was super informative, it brought me up to speed on the never slowing down world of technology in 6 months we will probably be seeing 3.0 that how fast technology is blooming.
I am beyond thrilled that i am done just because i can focus more at the tasks at hand but i enjoyed the process. I enjoyed learning new things that i never thought i would be doing and i have took somethings with me that i will be using in my everyday life like my RSS feeds.
if there is another program i am pretty confident i would participate but it just depends on my everyday life.
its good to say hey i have completed the 2.0 program that my job has provided me it reminds that i am blessed with the chance but i can't promise that i will miss writing these blogs we will have to wait and see.

The 2.0 journey
Learning 2.0 was cool. Something i thought were benefical other things i think i will be ok without but i am thankful to know them. my alltime favorite discovery as i have stated in a previous blog was one of the newer blogs we finished. LIBRARY THING is like the best thing since sliced bread to me because of the simple fact that being in school i can't ever find the time to read so i basically just say wow that looks intresting and remind myself to write it down so that when i have free time i can pick it up. It never happens that way because i forget to write the titles down and then all i can describe is the cover which really sucks. Library thing is like a little notebook but online and i can check it ANYWHERE how awesome is that!!!!!
I won't say that 2.0 assisted in my lifelong goals directly but a huge goal in my life is to become a renissance woman, i want to know everything about everything and having 2.0 in my life has brought me closer to accomplishing that goal. 2.0 wasn't hard just time consuming but once you get into an excersice you lose track of time. I love that 2.0 showed me how to make my life more computer based. The computer was already my life line but there are things that i can do know like post you tube video's that i wasn't sure how to do before 2.0 came into my life.

ROLLYO
i am not impressed with Rollyo, i can understand how some could be but i am, ever so loyal to ask.com i have used them ever since high school and i just will always use it. I can see how rollyo allows you to do a more pinpointed search but i am just set in my ways on my search site. I was going to make a rollyo but i did not want to waste the space for someone else to do it. I do believe that search sites help your everday computer time espically if you are looking for something but just like people have a favorite brand of car i think that alot people have their prefrence in search engines.
Library Thing
I loveeeeee Library thing. If i haven't had a favorite as of yet i do now. I shelve books and i am one of those people who love to find the "hidden gems" on the shelves. With school the only thing i have time to read are my textbooks , emails and the occasional gossip magazine or if i see an intresting easy reader. I like to read the easies not because i have a story time or anything but i love to see some of my favorite books redone or for instance all the different stories of cinderella it just makes me feel good lol. But i always say that i should take a piece of paper and a pen with me when i shelve because i always find things that are intresting or i say omg i soooo wanted to read this and forgot the title. Library thing helps me keep what i want to read in order that way i no longer have to forget the title and know i can also be helping someone who may have wanted to read the same book and forgot the title.
I put the library thing widget on my blog because it will keep the info fresh in my memory and if there is a chance that i do end up forgetting i will be able to log on library thing and my list will be there i don't have to worry about keeping a piece of paper when i can know just see it and put it on my list. I needed something like this for a very long time. :)

Of course since i loved the Flckr Montager so much i had to use the mosaic maker as my photo generator of choice. What i dedided to do was use the same pictures i used for flickr and just make it into a mosaic because they are ohhh so pretty. Mosaics always remind me of tiles
i thought it would only be right if i incorparted both to show my computer savviness ( just joking) i think that i actually have to have a account with the mosaics maker so i couldn't save it but the pics at the bottom are just some of my choices. again if you need a pic me up and need to see eye candy by all means go to my flickr blog.

Manchester Public Library
I have noticed just alone as a clerk who sees the teens come to their youth meetings that these teens are with the times. From what i see all the teens know how to use the computers they know what music they would like the library to own as well as what genre of books they want to read.
I chose Manchester Public Library catalog because when i clicked on the link i saw teen matrix and i thought wow its about the kids and i like that because i remember when i was a kid i loved going to the library always wanted to work at a library so it impressed me.
Know as i said before i like the podcasts becomes someof them are usually in a radio type format but what manchester had that i like was a videocasts that actually had teens who spoke of their favorite books so like a podcasts but you can listen and be visual at the same time.
To me podcasts are excellent for our customers who can not see very well and are looking for new books on disc they can have a little summary given to them. Also for customers who do nothing but read and run out of titles at least with the podcasts they can weed out what they like and don't like.
It is just life you have to change with the times. I have said that in so many blogs the world is evolving and its now you are either up for the train ride or if you want to stick with the wagon. at somepoint things run out and you have to go out and buy something new to replace it thats the way technology is as soon as you buy something, something bigger and better comes along. I know it gets fustrating but as i continue to do this 2.0 i am learning things that i never thought i would like listening to a hockey game over the computer and then blogging on it.

Podcasts are intertesting they remind me of radio interviews or radio shows. i was unable to look at podcast.net and podcastalley.com because of the city's blocking but i have a general jist of what they are. I know that almost everyweek we listen to a podcast before we start the new assignment of the week and i find it helpful because its almost giving you a little summary of what you are going to uncover this or that week.
I actually as i write this blog about podcasting i am actually listening to a live podcasting of the New York Rangers Vs Philly Flyers game that is going on in Philly. It is amazing that i can actually use what i am learning in 2.0 to something that i love. what i also noticed is that nhl.com which i used for my RSS feed also has del.i.cous as well.
